CHRISTMAS!

We had a great Christmas!!! We spent Christmas Eve with Aaron's family, and then Christmas day with mine! Carson was so fun to watch, and yes he got his T.V. and Wii. Barrett could care less about the actual gifts. He just wanted to eat all the paper. Here are a few fun pictures: HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Barrett's first Christmas! I think he is getting more teeth.

Update!!!

I didn't think I would be this bad at keeping everyone updated! Anyways here is the updates!

Aaron is keeping busy with work! I swear he works every day! He is constantly picking up bonus shifts for extra cash. It is good, the cash is anyway, but I like him home too! Aaron is usually a scrooge this time of year, but with how excited Carson is he can't help but be excited too. The first snow fall Aaron, Carson, and I made a huge snowman. It was really fun! It fell over two days later because it started melting.

The boys are doing wonderful!! They are both growing so fast! Carson is my best buddy! I love that kid sooooo much! We have so much fun together. He is so smart and just so awesome to be around! He is doing great in swimming lessons, an awesome tumbler in gymnastics, and can Karate with the best of them in Martial Arts. He is soo excited for Santa clause to come! In the beginning he told Santa he wanted an orange candy bar and some toys, and now all of the sudden he wants a TV and a Wii. I think Aaron must of had something to do with his change of heart. He also told Santa that I wanted a big red fire truck.
Barrett is growing like a weed. He has officially conquered crawling and is pulling himself up and walking along furniture. He has six teeth and seems to be getting more. I can't believe he is already 9 months. Time has went so fast. He is pretty tall for his age and the cutest baby ever. Not to mention the best baby ever too! I love him so much! He is my little buddy and such a joy to our fam.

Carson and Barrett are the best of buds!

I'm doing great also! I survived my first semester back to school and did pretty good in my classes. I'm applying to the nursing program in February and am very excited. I'm still working at the hospital and teaching swim lessons at Golds Gym. It is busy but fun! I can't wait until Christmas! I love the holidays! I'm going to be 25 already on the 30Th. That just seems crazy to me! I hope everyone is doing great!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE HOBBS CLAN!!!

Crazy Busy!!

Ok so I warned everyone that my blogging was going to be pretty slim to none. It has been pretty busy in the Hobbs house hold. So about the paper I was working on the last time I blogged. It was supposed to be 6 pages no less! For some reason I couldn't quite get it to be the full 6. I spent almost a whole day putting in more quotes and adding adjectives. I got it to about 5 and 3/4 pages and was done. I just couldn't find anymore to add. I asked Aaron to edit it and add anything anywhere that he thought would be good and make it longer. SO he started editing it and asked me what format it was supposed to be written in. I told him MLA format, and he started to laugh. He informed me that in MLA format the paper is double spaced. My paper was only single spaced, so he highlighted it and clicked double space. 11 freaking pages I had written!!!! I was so mad I couldn't even talk. Needless to say I will never make that mistake again. I'm supposed to get that paper back tomorrow. I better get a good grade!!
From October 15th through the 24th Aaron, Dusty, My sister-in-law, and AJ parker drew on a group bull permit hunt. The opening day Dusty and Aaron shot twin bulls. It is Aaron's first bull and I'm so excited for him!! I know I'm weird but i like elk meat and especially jerky! When I get the pictures downloaded I will post some. Well My baby is crying! I hope everyone is doing good! If people have gone private I want to be included!!! My e-mail address is nikechick789@yahoo.com

Sooo Busy!

Like I posted previously I am crazy busy. School is OK. I'm currently working on my first literature paper. It is supposed to be 7 pages and so far I only have 2. I have a ways to go. I am still working at the hospital every Friday for eight hours. I know that's not much but I love working where I do and didn't want to completely give up my position when I had Barrett and went back to school. I also, on top of everything else, got another job. I am one of the swim lesson instructors at GOLD'S GYM. I teach the beginning and intermediate levels. So with working out and swimming everyday of the week, GOLD"s is like my new home. Another thing that is keeping me busy and I love is watching my sister-in-law Nikki play sports. Right now she is playing volleyball, and their team is awesome. I have only missed a few games. Aaron is usually working on the nights of her games so Carson, Barret, and I tag along with Pops (Grandpa Todd). It's kinda crazy cheering for Grace after growing up in Soda, and I thought I would never say it but GO GRACE!!!! Well I need to work on my paper. Hope everyone is doing good! Love ya Lynz

SCHOOL VS BLOGGING

Ok, so pretty much the only thing I look at when I'm on the computer is stuff that pertains to school. I have a computer information class I am taking that's online, and I have already been assigned a research paper for my lit class. I guess this all is supposed to mean my blogging days are going to be few and far between, not that they were ever really that frequent. I hope no one forgets about me! I will try to write little things like this every now and again. Love ya Lynz
P.S. My kids are still growing way to fast!!!!

Update!

Not much going on in our house hold. Aaron and I are still playing softball. It's way fun to be able to play with him. We have also been camping a few times with my fam. Not much else happening though. My kids are getting way big way fast. I did get my cord back for my camera. Yeah!! I will try to post pictures more often now. The latest pictures I have are from our trip to Bearlake a few weeks ago. Hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer because it's almost over. Love ya Lynz

Memories

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Some more summer fun!

OK, so I'm so busy looking at everyone else's blogs that I never post on my own. Not much is happening in the Hobbs house hold. Same old stuff, working, and getting ready for school to start for me again. YIKES!! We did however, have a great 4th of July. Aaron, Doug, Nikki, and I played 4 on 4 volleyball. We did really good against the two teams we played. Yeah, we lost, I think we even got dead last. But, like I said the two teams we played were two of the best teams there. I guess it was just luck or shall I say unluck of the draw. We also went camping over the 4th which was a blast, except for the 104 maybe 105 mosquito bites that I got. I HATE mosquitoes. So, if anyone remembers my previous blogs I mentioned how our computer sucks. We finally took it to the Computer Medical Center, yeah that's really the name of the place, they even wear scrubs and lab coats CHEESY. However, they know their computers. They fixed ours for only about 300 Dollars. No wonder they have medical center in their name. So anyways i was so excited to bring it "home from the hospital" to download some pictures that I've been wanting to post that I could hardly stand it. Well, now I have know idea where the cord is that goes from the camera to the computer. It's always something right? I will find it though, I think it might be at my sisters. We did get family pictures recently that we should be getting back soon. They come on a disk so I should have no problems downloading them onto the computer. I guess will see when we get them. Anyways, like I said not much happening. Oh, Aaron and I joined GOLD'S GYM. I love it!! I decided that being round isn't really the shape I'm looking for. It's not really working for me anymore. So with going to the gym, playing co-ed softball, and our new found love Frisbee golf ( thanks Rob, Larry, and Sam) hopefully I'll shed a few pounds or should I say a few hundred pounds. :) I hope everyone is still having a fun summer. It's going to be over soon so enjoy it while it lasts right. Love ya Lynz

Summer Fun!!

Well, I'm slaking again. It seems, I haven't been home long enough to blog. Anyways, on June 14th, we officially added another member to the Ayers family. Yep that's right, My little brother is now a married man. He married Melissa Merritt from Bear Lake. She is so cute and awesome. She fits into our family perfect. I'm so excited to have her apart of the family. Congrats you two!! Well, since it is summer, that means when neither Aaron nor I are at work you can usually fine us at Ross Park swimming or our favorite spot Lava. My little guy Carson is just barely 3 and loves to swim. He especially loves doing cannon balls off the side of the pool or the diving board if the life guards would let him. This last Monday we went to Lava with my sister and her girls. Carson decided he wanted to go down the Hydro-tube slides. I wasn't to sure if he would really do it or if he would be to scared. Needless to say, the last four hours was spent watching him and his cousins go up and down them a hundred times. Now for the crazy part of this swimming trip. I was just sitting on the bench by the diving boards talking to Kat on the phone when Aaron came up to me with the brilliant idea of going off the 3rd platform. I just laughed because I thought he was just kidding. He wasn't! I used to go off the third all the time when I was in high school a long time ago! Well, the lifeguard made us go sign a waiver that meant I was surely going to die and then Aaron couldn't sue them. So then we climbed the really long later of doom up to the third. I was so scared I couldn't even breath. I stood up there for I swear 20 minutes. Everyone in the swimming pool was watching me and trying to encourage me to just go off including my little Carson who has no fears. I just couldn't do it! Yep, that's right I walked the walk of shame. I went down to the 2nd platform which freaked me out just as much. As I was standing there for another 20 minutes I looked down to see my 4 and 6 year old nieces going off the high-dive like it was nothing. Morgan said, " OK auntie Lynz, if I go off the high dive will you jump off the same time I do?" For some reason I said yes and she started to climb up to the high-dive. She counted to three and started to jump and I couldn't let her down so I jumped that's right I jumped. I screamed the whole way down, but I'm still alive and I can say I did it!! It really wasn't that bad, it just hurt my boobs a little OK a lot, but it was still fun, and the best part about it is how proud my little Carson is of me!! Oh yeah, Aaron had no trouble going off the third or the second. What a big TURD!! Well, I hope every one's summer is going well!! Love YA, LYNZ

Happy Anniversary!!

Yep, I have been officially married for four years!! I just want everyone to know how much I love my BUNNY!! Yeah, that's what I call him. Cheesy I know! He is the best thing that ever happened to me! I am so thankful for the knowledge I have in knowing that we have an eternal marriage, and that know matter what happens we will be together forever!! Aaron, I love you, I love you, I love you!! From your Lynz

Good News!

Well, finally some good news, WERE STAYING!!!!! Aaron told the traveling agency from the start that he wanted to work days not nights. He also told them he would like to stay in the west. It seems they don't listen very good. Everything that they have offered to him is the exact opposite of his requests. Aaron has finally decided that it's not worth the trouble anymore. YEAH!! We've also realized that making money is not as important as having family and friends close. Moving would have been devastating to Carson because he is extremely close to my mom. It's not worth turning his whole world upside down to make some extra cash. Plus, Barrett is growing and changing so fast, I don't want to leave and have everyone miss it. I can't tell everyone how relieved I am. Thanks for all the advice though, it really was making me feel better. We have decided we are still going to sell our townhouse. We want something bigger, and with two boys and a dog we really need a backyard. Oh yeah, we have a dog now too. We got a Shi Tsu, Maltese cross last Saturday. He is sooo cute. I gave him to Aaron for Father's Day. Aaron named him smokey because of his cool coloring. Anyways, I'm so excited that we are staying I couldn't wait to tell everyone. So, Krystal we will probably be at the reunion and Sara and Nick we won't miss your awesome upcoming event. :)

TORN!

I hope everyone had a good Memorial weekend. We went with my family to Jackson and through Yellowstone. It was a lot of driving but tons of fun. Anyways, about the title. Aaron has decided to take a traveling nurse job that he applied for earlier this month. When he filled out the app, we didn't think it would even be looked at because Aaron has only been a RN for 4 months, and most require a year of experience. Needless-to-say, he has been offered a spot in 5 different locations with Oregon and Washington being my only favorites because they are at least touching IDAHO. It is a way good opportunity with lots of benefits like, good pay, not paying for housing or utilities, everything is furnished, getting to go to a different place every 13 weeks, and not to mention good experience for Aaron. I'm really excited for this adventure, but I'm really torn because I don't want to leave my family :( Aaron has promised me that after 2 years he will move us back to Poky so Carson can start Kindergarten, and I can finish school. I want to go just as much as I want to stay. I'm in shock that everything is happening so fast. We listed our house yesterday, and I am kinda freaking out! I'm really scared too. Let me know if anyone has some advice because I'm totally TORN!
P.S. I added Life is a Highway to my playlist because it is Carson's favorite song, and I truly beleive that life is a highway.

Thanks Rikki! Pictures!!

Well we've had a busy but fun May, and it's not even over yet. My computer is still not working, but Rikki is letting me use hers to post some pictures of all the happenings.

Carson's Birthday Party!

The Cake!

Mouth full of pizza!

Swimming after the party!

Aaron is officialy a RN! I am so proud of him!!! This is a picture of the pinning ceremony. Aaron is standing with one of his best buddies. He met Paul while in nursing school. He is the funniest guy. They were both done with school in December, but had to wait until their whole class was finished to celebrate. Congrats Guyz!!

Carson and cousin Morgan riding the tractor with Uncle Dust!! They didn't get as dirty as Dust but pretty close.

Poor Dusty didn't even get one day off between finishing his first year at ISU and helping on the farm. He is a good sport though!

Carson got to feed to twin black baby lambs. It was so cute!

The sheep were so nice. Carson and his cousins had a ton of fun!! Thanks Lau's

DUMB COMPUTER!

Well, we had a very busy weekend. We celebrated Carson's birthday on Saturday with a big birthday party. It was a lot of fun. He had a lot of his friends show-up, and I think they all had a good time. Then on Sunday Barrett was blessed, and we had a barbecue with some friends and family. I was able to get a lot of pictures form both events; however, for some reason my computer won't let me download any of them. I'm going to take the dumb thing in to see if someone can fix it, but I have a feeling that we are just going to have to buy a new one. Aaron probably wore it out using it for school. I wish you all could see how much Barrett is changing. He looks exactly like Aaron. Even people we don't know tell us that. He weighs a little over 11lbs now, and he is just so cute. He is even smiling too! Carson of course is huge and is getting bigger by the day. He is officially 3 now, and he knows it, and thinks he is big enough to do anything. They are both so much fun!! Well Once again I will post some pictures when I can figure out what is wrong with the computer. Love Lynzi

Rough Month!

I really am trying to be a good blogger, but it has been a rough month. First of all i'm still trying to get the hang of blogspot, but I think with help i'm figuring it out ( thanks Sarah). My Dad just got out of the hospital on Sunday. He was in ICU for 5 days with a GI Bleed that has finally stopped. He is feeling better, but we found out he needs a liver transplant. Yikes! On wednesday, I was informed that my cousin Brandon's little boy Dylan, was hit by a car. He is in PICU and is doing a little better each day. He is a very lucky little boy. Needless to say we have been praying a little more than usual this month, and are being blessed with miracles still each day. I promise I will post more pictures of my little guys as soon as things slow a little.

Carson & Barrett

Barrett Clint Hobbs

Barrett weighed 8 lbs 15 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was born by surprise on March 13th instead of his sceduled C-section date of March 18th. So far everything is going great. Carson loves him, but he is not so sure about sharing the attention of mommy and daddy. I guess will see what happens.
